Since amarok-nightly is a huge success ....
Project Neon now also includes kde-nightly builds for Kubuntu!
Currently available are kdebase, kdemultimedia, kdegraphics, kdenetwork and kdesdk
Now my dear Kubuntu users, you can: develop, debug, fix, test, promote and break your system :-P
Have fun, and in case something goes wrong: blame KRF in #amarok.neon.

Wow cool! kde svn build has taken about 9.1 GB of my hard disk space, i think i'll be able to reduce it with neon hopefully.

I have problems to build plasma related things (ie plasmoids) with the 4.1 beta packages from Kubuntu (maybe something related to libplasma)
Can this packages help me to compile these plasmoids ? (I don't care if it's not really stable, I still havec KDE 3.5)
How do you make Firefox look like that? It's really ugly right now for me.

One question: is there a way to use gtk-qt-engine-kde4 even with these packages? Are you using that in your oxyfox video?

Yes. You can also compile it against Neon, however that is a bit tricky right now - http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/multimedia/amarok/supplementary_scripts/neon/tools/data/varsrc?revision=806991&view=markup - you will have to set these environment variables (with appropriate neonpath), then you should be able to build against the kde-nightly stack.
I'll try to create a build environment with scripts sometime next week.
Thank you for your response! In these days I tried to figure out how to compile gtk-qt engine against Neon but the lack of skills and time made me renounce. Maybe you could include it in some future update of Neon packages?
Neon is a really great project that improved so much the experience for kubuntu users trying to use an up-to-date kde SVN. Thanks again!
hi I am using ubuntu packages and they are great. One small problem is that in dolphin when you try to mount ntfs drive is does not ask for sudo privelages for dbus send and thus gets an error when trying to mount. I can mount it under kde 4 stable. Any help would be appreciatiated.

This worked really well with both hardy and Intrepid until intrepid went beta. After that the updates / grades for nightly wouldn't install and it broke a few thinks in II beta.
Is there going to be a Intrepid version after release??
