So finally I got ultimately annoyed by the fact, that I have to keep 4 logins to access the Amarok web infrastructure. ITS THE SUCK!
I finally started to OpenIDify the website(s), and since Mark pointed out that I'm the wiki guy, I started with mediawiki ;-). As Professor Farnsworth will use to say "Good news everyone!" --> it's working.
Yesterday I setup a mediawiki for testing, and with the somewhat new extension I got to a proper result within no time. See the screencast. As soon as I can reach our admin I'll move the Rokymotion wiki to OpenID. After testing and polishing, I hopefully also was able to move either Drupal or SMF to OpenID, so that I finally can move most of the websites to OpenID.... especially meaningful for the wikis since we got 2 of them (a dirty one and a polished end-user one)
Anyway, next on the TODO is Drupal, it looks like getting OpenID to work with it might not be a big problem, since current trunk actually already includes OpenID by default, so I hope it's a save bet for 5.x as well.
...now if KDE would switch to OpenID... ;-)

I suppose the ;-) is meant to signify you realise KDE 4 WILL support OpenID to a certain extend (I've heard ppl talk but afaik it's not entirely clear HOW it will support it).
KDE 4 is very unprecise though... can be now or in 3 years
depends on what you mean by "KDE switch to openID" since that's a bit .... vague ;)
we have an OpenID API in kdelibs already, get hot new stuff uses it, the new (not released, but soon!) first launch plasma applet sports an OpenID login + link to create an open id account.
how's that for a start?
Using OpenID in Drupal5 is real easy, since there is drupalmodul for it: http://drupal.org/project/openid
I'm using it on my site and it just works ;).
@Our King: The sentence is vague by intention ;-)
Though having an API in KDELibs is actually a really good start, now kdedevelopers, techbase, spreadkde need to get support for OpenID

How hard/easy was to setup OpenID on the mediawiki. It seems the extension is quite hard to implemnt. I am not sure if it has gotten easier since then but I remember that the php libraries were pretty broken.
